If you do not accept these terms, you should not use EmuDesk.
1. Purpose of the service
EmuDesk is a community-driven platform that enables the sharing of information about emulator issues, game compatibility, guides, tools, keymap profiles, community discussions, and streamer profiles. EmuDesk does not claim to be officially affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any game, emulator, publisher, developer, brand, or platform; unless otherwise expressly stated on the relevant page, all brand and product names belong to their respective owners.
2. Eligibility and account creation
You may need to create an account on EmuDesk in order to contribute content, post comments, vote, follow, receive notifications, or manage a streamer profile. When creating an account, you must provide accurate, up-to-date information that belongs to you. You are responsible for the security of your account, the confidentiality of your password, and any activities carried out through your account.
- You may not impersonate another person, brand, moderator, or official entity.
- You may not manipulate the voting, reputation, comment, or moderation systems with multiple accounts.
- If you believe your account has been used without your authorization, you must contact us immediately.
- Use of EmuDesk by persons under the age of 13 is prohibited; users under the age of 18 must use the service, where required, with the consent of a parent or legal representative.
3. User content and licence
You may add content to EmuDesk such as issue reports, solutions, guides, comments, community posts, keymap descriptions, tool information, profile text, streamer profiles, or similar contributions. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content and for ensuring that it does not infringe the rights of third parties.
By submitting content, you grant EmuDesk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable right of use to host, display, reproduce, technically transform, prepare translations or summaries of, index in search and discovery systems, edit for moderation and quality purposes, and make available as part of the community knowledge base. Ownership of your content and all intellectual property rights remain yours; however, published community contributions may be retained in anonymised form after account deletion in order to preserve the integrity of the knowledge base.
4. Prohibited uses
You may not use EmuDesk for the following purposes:
- Sharing or linking to pirated games, ROMs, ISOs, BIOS files, cracks, licence keys, cheat software, or any material that infringes copyright.
- Sharing viruses, trojans, malicious scripts, phishing links, or malicious files.
- Publishing spam, misleading advertising, irrelevant promotion, fake download links, or content that deceives users.
- Harassing, threatening, or targeting other users, or using hate speech or engaging in discrimination.
- Attempting to bypass the platform's security measures, performing unauthorised access attempts, scraping data through automation, or disrupting the service.
- Manipulating the voting, reputation, badge, reporting, or moderation systems.
- Posting content unrelated to emulators, game compatibility, guides, tools, or the community.
5. Guides, solutions, tools, and keymap content
Guides, solutions, tool descriptions, keymap profiles, and compatibility notes published on EmuDesk are provided for informational purposes. Changing emulator settings, running third-party tools, downloading files, or making changes to your game account are at your own risk. EmuDesk does not warrant that content contributed by users or third parties will produce definitive results, be safe, eliminate the risk of account sanctions, or work on all systems.
EmuDesk may provide security scans, warnings, source checks, or editorial review for tools and files; however, these controls do not constitute an absolute security guarantee. When downloading files, you should prefer official sources, use up-to-date security software, and assess the associated risks.
6. External links and third-party services
EmuDesk may link to game developers, emulator sites, tool developers, video platforms, social media profiles, advertising providers, or other third-party services. EmuDesk is not responsible for the content, security, privacy practices, terms of use, or files provided by external sites.
7. Moderation and publication decisions
EmuDesk reserves the right to review, edit, reject, remove, archive, limit the visibility of, assess reports on, and apply sanctions to accounts that violate the rules. Moderation decisions may be made for reasons including content quality, community safety, legal risk, spam prevention, security, and platform integrity.
Sanctions may result in warnings, content removal, restrictions on comments or posts, reputation adjustments, temporary suspension, permanent bans, or sharing of information with the relevant authorities. If you believe a moderation decision is incorrect, you may appeal through the Contact page.
8. Streamer profiles
Streamer profile applications are subject to editorial review. Your profile should contain correct platform links, appropriate descriptions, and content related to the emulation and gaming community. EmuDesk may reject, request changes to, or archive streamer profiles that are low-quality, misleading, duplicate, infringe copyright, or are contrary to community safety.
9. Intellectual property and copyright notice
The EmuDesk brand, interface design, original texts, software components, and platform layout belong to EmuDesk or to the relevant rights holders. Game, emulator, brand, logo, and product names are the property of their respective owners. The use of third-party brand names on EmuDesk is solely for identification and informational purposes.

- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that the person making the notice is authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder.
- The physical or electronic signature of the person making the notice.
Upon a valid notice, EmuDesk may, after evaluating the content, remove it or limit access to it within a reasonable period. Notices submitted in bad faith or in violation of the law may have legal and administrative consequences for the sender. Counter-notice procedures are handled through the same communication channel.
10. Advertising and sponsored content
EmuDesk may display advertising spaces, sponsored links, or partnership content in order to sustain the service. Sponsored or advertising content is appropriately labelled. EmuDesk is not responsible for the products, services, or claims of advertisers.
11. Changes to the service and access
EmuDesk may change features, temporarily suspend them, perform maintenance, reorganise content categories, or remove certain features. It is not guaranteed that the service will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or be compatible with every device.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
EmuDesk is provided "as is" and "as available". The information on the platform may consist of community contributions and editorial content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmuDesk makes no warranty as to the accuracy, currency, or fitness for a particular purpose of content, the safety of third-party files, the outcome of emulator settings, any sanctions that may be applied to game accounts, or the security of external links.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EmuDesk is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of reputation, account sanctions, device failure, file loss, or damages arising from third-party services. EmuDesk's total liability is limited to the fee received from the relevant user during the 12 months following the date the event occurred (or a nominal amount for free uses). Mandatory consumer and data protection rights are reserved.
14. Indemnity
As a user, you agree to indemnify EmuDesk against any and all damages, losses, costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees), and third-party claims that EmuDesk may incur as a result of your breach of these Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
15. Termination of account
You may delete your account from your settings or initiate a closure process by submitting a support request. EmuDesk may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account in the event of a breach of these terms or the Community Guidelines. Even if an account is terminated, some contributions may remain in anonymised form to preserve the integrity of the knowledge base.
16. Changes to the terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. For significant changes, where appropriate, in-site notifications or email notifications will be provided. The current terms take effect at the moment they are published on this page; your continued use of the service means that you accept the updated terms.
17. Governing law and resolution of disputes
These terms shall be interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory local consumer and data protection provisions. Disputes shall first be sought to be resolved in good faith; where no result is obtained, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Istanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices of the Republic of Türkiye. The right of consumers resident in Türkiye to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and courts of their place of residence is reserved.
18. Contact
