This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar tracking technologies used on emudesk.com, their purposes, how long they are kept, which category they belong to, and how you can manage your preferences. The policy applies together with our Privacy Policy and is structured to comply with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law, the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by the websites you visit. Similar technologies include local storage (localStorage), session storage (sessionStorage), web pixel tags and SDKs. This policy covers all such technologies under the general term "cookie".
2. Cookie categories
EmuDesk groups cookies into three categories. Cookies in the analytics and advertising categories only operate while the explicit consent you give through the cookie notice remains in effect.
- Essential cookies: provide the core functionality of the platform. They are required for session management, CSRF protection, remembering cookie preferences, language preference and security verification. These cookies do not require consent; when disabled, functions such as sign-in, account management and secure form submission will not work.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how you use EmuDesk at an anonymous or aggregate level. Google Analytics 4 falls in this category. They are loaded only with your explicit consent.
- Advertising cookies: used for ad serving, frequency capping and measuring ad interactions. Google AdSense falls in this category. They are loaded only with your explicit consent.
3. EmuDesk cookie inventory
The table below provides a summary of the main cookies set directly by EmuDesk and those that may be set by the third parties we rely on. The current inventory is published on the Processing Records page.
| Cookie / identifier | Category | Purpose | Duration | Party |

The table above is derived automatically from EmuDesk's cookie registry. If a cookie is removed or a new one is added, the policy and the Processing Records page are updated accordingly.
4. Managing your consent
You can manage your preferences for analytics and advertising cookies in the following ways:
- On your first visit, choose Accept all, Essential only or Customise on the cookie notice.
- You can change your preferences at any time using the Privacy & Cookie Settings link at the bottom of the page.
- You can delete cookies from your browser settings, block cookies from specific sites or send a Do Not Track signal; EmuDesk respects these signals to the extent it is technically feasible to do so.
Preference changes affect only future processing. Previously collected analytics/advertising data is managed within the retention policy of the relevant service provider. When you withdraw consent, the associated cookies are cleared from your browser at the next session.
5. Third-party cookies
Cookies set by third-party providers (such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense) are subject to the privacy policies and data processing practices of those providers. Some of these providers may be established outside the European Economic Area or Türkiye; the safeguards applied to international transfers are explained in section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
6. Use of cookies by children
EmuDesk is not aimed at users under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect cookie-based data from such users. Analytics and advertising cookies are not loaded for visitors who do not pass the age gate.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated due to the addition of new cookies, the removal of existing cookies, changes in retention periods, or regulatory changes. For significant changes, the version of the cookie notice is incremented and fresh consent may be requested. The last updated date of the current text is shown at the top of this page.
